We Work Together

All young people using Right To Care Ltd.’s services do so because of the support we offer.

We aim to ensure that:

  • The support you receive is the support you need. If Right To Care Ltd isn’t able to provide all of the support you need, we will help you to arrange it from other people or organisations.

  • Wherever possible, the support you receive is the support you want. We will ask you what support you want and take account of this when planning our service for you.

We ensure your support worker always:

  • Listens to you.
  • Treats you with respect and in a way, that is appropriate to your age.

  • Keeps appointments with you and attends these on time.
  • Provides you with the help you need (in most cases this will be what is agreed and written down in your care plan or support plan).

We make you the priority by enabling you to:

  • Change your support worker if necessary.

  • Know how to make a complaint if you are unhappy.

How We Help

We aim to help our clients achieve independence by supporting their learning of everyday concepts. Some of these include:

  • Budgeting
  • Cooking
  • Finding and signing up to doctors, dentist, and opticians
  • Travelling
  • Emotional Support
We have developed our own in-house 'Get Ready for Adult Life' booklet, which we work through with our clients. Find some examples below.

We will also point you into the right direction for any support that we cannot provide.
